applications Mullite insulation bricks

1. Metallurgical industry This is one of the largest application fields of mullite insulation bricks. Insulation layers for various industrial kilns and furnaces: such as steel rolling heating furnaces, annealing furnaces, heat treatment furnaces, tempering furnaces, forging furnaces, etc. They are constructed on the outside of the refractory working layer of the furnace body (such as corundum bricks, high alumina bricks), effectively reducing heat loss of the furnace and saving energy and reducing consumption. Non-ferrous metal smelting furnace: It serves as an insulation layer on the furnace walls and roof of furnaces for melting aluminum, copper, zinc, etc. Iron smelting system: The roof and wall insulation of the hot blast stove, the heat-insulating lining of the torpedo tank truck, etc.
2. Ceramics and Building Materials Industry Ceramic kilns: Especially tunnel kilns, belt kilns, and shuttle kilns that require extremely high uniformity of temperature. Mordorite insulation bricks are used as insulation materials for the kiln car platform, the side walls and top of the kiln body, which can effectively ensure the stability of the kiln temperature and improve the firing quality of ceramic products.
