High-Alumina Cement CA50/A600/A700/A900 - High-Temp Refractory Binder For Industrial Kilns

Our High-Alumina Cement (grades CA50, A600, A700, A900) is a premium refractory binder crafted from natural bauxite and calcium aluminate, with Al₂O₃ content ranging from 48% to 80% and refractoriness up to 1770-2000℃. It features excellent early strength (1-day compressive strength 20-40MPa) and long-term durability (28-day compressive strength 80MPa), making it ideal for formulating refractory castables, ramming mixes, and mortars in cement rotary kilns, steel ladles, and high-temperature industrial furnaces. Backed by CE certification, TüVRheinland verification, and 50,000 tons monthly capacity, we offer factory-direct pricing ($150-$950/ton) and full customization to meet global industrial demands.

Description

1. Product Overview

This high-alumina cement is manufactured via advanced processes: high-purity bauxite calcination, precise batching with calcium carbonate, high-temperature sintering (1600-1700℃), and ultra-fine grinding (to ensure powder uniformity). The product line covers four core grades (CA50/A600/A700/A900) differentiated by Al₂O₃ content-from 48% (CA50) for medium-temperature applications to 80% (A900) for ultra-high-temperature scenarios. Unlike ordinary Portland cement, it contains no harmful impurities (CaO/CrO/MgO/SiC = 0, Fe₂O₃ ≤2.5%), avoiding chemical reactions with molten materials or high-temperature gases. Its powder form (standard fineness 325 mesh) ensures easy mixing with aggregates, solving the pain points of poor fluidity and low bonding strength in refractory formulations.

2. Key Features

Grade-Specific High-Temp Performance: Al₂O₃ content 48%-80% adapts to diverse temperature needs-CA50/A600 for 1200-1500℃ environments (e.g., kiln transition zones), A700/A900 for 1500-1800℃ zones (e.g., steel ladle linings).

Excellent Mechanical Strength: 1-day compressive strength 20-40MPa (enables fast formwork removal), 28-day strength 80MPa (ensures long-term structural stability); cold crushing strength ≥65MPa, resisting impact from material charging.

Controlled Setting Time: Initial setting time ≥30 minutes (enough for construction operation), final setting time ≤360 minutes (avoids delayed project progress)-perfect for on-site refractory pouring.

Low Impurity & Corrosion Resistance: Fe₂O₃ ≤2.5%, R₂O (Na₂O+0.658K₂O) ≤0.4%-no alkali metal volatilization at high temperatures, preventing kiln furniture corrosion; compatible with acidic/alkaline aggregates.

High Compatibility: Easily mixed with high-alumina aggregates, corundum, or silicon carbide to formulate castables, ramming mixes, or mortars-supports 1:3 to 1:6 aggregate-cement ratios for different density requirements.

4. Application Scenarios

Refractory Formulations:

Castables: Mixed with high-alumina aggregates for cement rotary kiln linings, steel ladle working layers.

Ramming mixes: Used for furnace bottom ramming in non-ferrous metal smelting furnaces.

Mortars: Acts as a bonding agent for refractory brick laying in glass furnace regenerators.

High-Temp Construction: On-site pouring of kiln door frames, burner blocks, and other irregular refractory components-ensures seamless bonding and thermal insulation.

Emergency Repairs: Fast-setting property (initial set ≥30min) enables quick repairs of kiln lining cracks or wear, reducing downtime by 50% vs. traditional materials.
