High-Alumina Refractory Castable - High-Strength, Heat-Resistant For Kiln Linings & Industrial Furnaces
Our High-Alumina Refractory Castable is a ready-to-use refractory material formulated with high-purity bauxite aggregates (Al₂O₃ ≥60%), calcium aluminate cement (CA50/A700), and ultra-fine additives. It features excellent fluidity (pourable without vibration), high-temperature resistance (1650-1800℃), and strong mechanical strength (28-day compressive strength ≥85MPa). Designed for on-site pouring of irregular refractory components, it’s widely used in cement rotary kilns, steel ladles, glass furnace regenerators, and waste incineration furnaces. Backed by ISO 9001, CE certifications, and 30,000 tons monthly capacity, we offer customization (Al₂O₃ 60%-90%) and factory-direct pricing ($220-$650/ton) to meet global industrial demands.
Description
1. Product Overview
This refractory castable is produced via a precise batching process: grading high-alumina aggregates (coarse: 5-10mm, medium: 1-5mm, fine: 0-1mm), mixing with CA50/A700 high-alumina cement (binder), and adding dispersants, anti-cracking agents, and water-retaining additives. Unlike pre-formed refractory bricks, it's supplied as a dry powder mix-just add 6%-8% water on-site to form a pourable slurry, which can be poured into molds of any shape (e.g., kiln door frames, burner blocks, ladle bottoms). It solves the pain points of traditional brick laying (seam leakage, poor adaptability to irregular structures) and ordinary castables (low fluidity, easy cracking after sintering). The product line covers three grades by Al₂O₃ content: 60%-70% (medium-temp), 70%-80% (high-temp), 80%-90% (ultra-high-temp), adapting to diverse industrial scenarios.
2. Key Features
Superior High-Temp Performance: Al₂O₃ ≥60% ensures refractoriness 1650-1800℃, withstanding long-term operation in cement rotary kiln firing zones (1700℃) and steel ladle working layers (1650℃) without softening or peeling.
Excellent Fluidity & Workability: Dry powder mix + 6%-8% water = pourable slurry, requiring no vibration for full mold filling-saves 50% on on-site construction time vs. ramming mixes.
High Mechanical Strength: 3-day compressive strength ≥50MPa, 28-day strength ≥85MPa, cold crushing strength ≥100MPa-resisting impact from material charging and thermal shock (1100℃ water quenching ≥15 cycles without cracking).
Low Shrinkage & Anti-Cracking: Added anti-cracking agents reduce post-sintering linear shrinkage to ≤1.2% (at 1500℃), avoiding gaps between castable and kiln shell; dense structure prevents high-temperature gas infiltration.
Wide Compatibility: Works with steel molds, wooden molds, or temporary formwork; compatible with refractory bricks (can be used for brick joint filling) and metal anchors (for structural reinforcement).

4. Application Scenarios
Cement Industry: Pouring of cement rotary kiln firing zone linings, cooler walls, and preheater cones-resisting high-temperature clinker erosion and thermal shock.
Metallurgy Industry: On-site casting of steel ladle bottoms, tundish linings, and electric arc furnace sidewalls-withstanding molten steel impact (1650℃) and slag corrosion.
Glass Industry: Regenerator grid pouring in glass furnaces, burner blocks, and flue linings-compatible with high-temperature glass melting environments and avoiding impurity contamination.
Waste Treatment Industry: Refuse incinerator hearth linings and flue gas duct linings-resisting corrosive residues (HCl, SO₂) and high-temperature combustion gas (1200℃).
5. Service & Support
Customization Service: Supports Al₂O₃ content adjustment (60%-90%), additive optimization (e.g., anti-corrosion for waste incinerators), and packaging customization (25kg bags, 1MT jumbo bags) with MOQ 5 tons; 3 days to deliver custom formulations.
