CA50 CA70 CA80 Fire Resistant Cement High Alumina Refractory Cement For Industry Furnace
Calcium aluminate cement/aluminate cement/high alumina cement are collectively referred to as refractory cement. High alumina cement (formerly known as bauxite cement) is a hydraulic cementing material made of high-purity calcium materials and high-purity alumina as the main raw materials, and clinker with alumina content of about 50%.According to the different content of Al2O3,they can have totally foue types:CA50,CA60,CA70 and CA80.CA-50, CA-70, CA-80, the alumina content is greater than 48%, 68% and 77% respectively. Its refractoriness is greater than 1650°C.The use temperature can reach 1800℃, and the impurity content is lower than other common cements.
Description
The characteristics of refractory cement
1. Excellent high-temperature resistance: The refractoriness of this material typically ranges from 1300°C to 1700°C, and some high-alumina types can even exceed 1700°C. •
Good high-temperature stability
2. Excellent mechanical strength: After hardening, it possesses sufficient normal temperature compressive and flexural strength, facilitating the installation of equipment after construction and the transportation before use.
3.Resistance to erosion: It can resist the erosion of corrosive media such as molten metals, slag, and smoke during high-temperature conditions, reducing material loss and extending service life. Resistance to thermal shock: During rapid temperature changes (such as the start and stop of the furnace or temperature fluctuations), it is less likely to crack due to thermal expansion and contraction, avoiding structural damage.
4. Convenient construction: Compared to some refractory materials, it is easier to operate on-site. • Hydration hardening: Similar to ordinary cement, it can be hardened through hydration reaction after being mixed with water, without the need for complex sintering processes. •
5.Strong plasticity: It can be made into mortar (for masonry and repair) or concrete (for pouring integral structures and prefabricated components), adapting to different construction scenarios.
Fire-resistant cement is mainly used in industrial scenarios that need to withstand temperatures above 1000℃. Its core purpose is to construct or repair fire-resistant masonry, and to produce fire-resistant concrete, providing structural support and protection for high-temperature equipment.

The application of refractory cement
Its application scenarios are entirely centered around the core requirement of "withstanding high temperatures", and can be divided into three core areas, covering various needs from large industrial equipment to special high-temperature scenarios.
1. Industrial kilns and thermal equipment (core application)
This is the main application scenario of fire-resistant cement, directly serving the high-temperature production process, and used for the construction and maintenance of equipment.
Building fire-resistant linings: used in steel mills' blast furnaces and converters, non-ferrous metal smelting's reflector furnaces and electrolytic cells, as well as ceramic kilns, glass kilns, etc., for the construction of fire-resistant bricks of equipment, forming the high-temperature inner layer of the equipment.
Filling gaps and local repairs: used as fire-resistant mortar, filling the gaps between fire-resistant bricks; when the furnace body, flue, etc. have local damage, it can be quickly repaired to restore its high-temperature performance and reduce production losses.
2. Production of fire-resistant concrete (key extended application)
By mixing fire-resistant aggregates (such as high-alumina aggregates, corundum aggregates) and fire-resistant powder materials in proportion, different performance fire-resistant concrete is produced, expanding the application forms.
Pouring complete structures: used for pouring the overall roof, furnace walls, and high-temperature chimneys' inner linings of kilns, compared to brick construction, the overall structure is more stable and has better sealing performance, and can adapt to complex equipment shapes.
Pre-fabricated fire-resistant components: manufacturing fire-resistant covers, fire-resistant supports, thermocouple protection tubes, etc., for structural support or equipment component protection in high-temperature environments, improving flexibility of use.
3. Special high-temperature scenarios (supplementary application)

Determining the core high-temperature resistance level and applicable environment of refractory cement is the basis for selection.
Refractory degree: The ability to resist high temperatures without melting, measured in °C.
Common type: 1580°C - 1770°C, suitable for medium and low-temperature thermal equipment.
High-alumina type: ≥1770°C, suitable for metallurgy, high-temperature kilns and other scenarios.
Chemical composition: Directly affects corrosion resistance and heat resistance. The common types are as follows.
Silicate type: Mainly calcium silicate, with high early strength and moderate heat resistance.
High-alumina type: Al₂O₃ content ≥ 40%, with better heat resistance and thermal shock resistance.
Magnesian type: Mainly MgO, with strong resistance to alkaline erosion, suitable for alkaline furnaces.
