Fire Clay Refractory Brick
Clay bricks are made of clay as the main raw material, which is stirred into plasticity and formed by mechanical extrusion. The extruded clods are called bricks, which are air-dried and sent to the kiln, where they are calcined at a high temperature of 900-1000 °C to become bricks.
Description
1. Fire Clay Refractory Brick are mainly used in the metallurgical industry, as raw materials for the production of shaped refractories (bricks of various specifications) and unshaped refractories, and the dosage accounts for about 70% of all refractories. Making blast furnace refractory materials, ironmaking furnaces, hot blast stoves, lining bricks and plug bricks for ladles, high alumina clay for making electric furnaces.
2. Refractory clay also has important uses in the grinding industry, chemical industry and ceramic industry. High alumina clay is melted in an electric arc furnace to manufacture abrasive materials. Among them, fused corundum abrasive is the most widely used abrasive at present, accounting for 2/3 of all abrasive products, high alumina clay can be used to produce various aluminum compounds, such as aluminum sulfate, hydroxide.
3. In the building materials industry, refractory clay is used to make high-alumina bricks, phosphate high-alumina refractory bricks, and high-alumina cast bricks for cement kilns and glass furnaces. Cement, this kind of cement has the characteristics of rapid setting ability and strong corrosion resistance and heat resistance.
