1. Product Overview
This Direct-Bonded Fused Magnesia Chromite Brick is manufactured via advanced processes: first, high-purity magnesia is fused at 2800℃ to form dense fused magnesia grains (reducing porosity); then, it's mixed with graded chrome ore (controlling Cr₂O₃ content for corrosion resistance) and trace additives (CaO ≤1.2% to optimize bonding); next, high-pressure shaping (1500-2000 tons press) ensures bulk density ≥3.0g/cm³; finally, high-temperature sintering (1700-1800℃) achieves "direct bonding" between magnesia and chrome grains-forming a dense, corrosion-resistant structure. Unlike traditional magnesia chrome bricks, its direct bonding structure eliminates weak intermediate phases, reducing slag penetration by 40% and extending service life to 18-24 months (2x longer than ordinary bonded bricks).
