Description
1.Ramming mass Description
Ramming material refers to the unshaped refractory that is constructed by ramming method and hardened under heating above normal temperature. It is made by mixing refractory aggregates, powders, binders, admixtures with a certain level of water or other liquids. It is used to fill the gap between the furnace cooling equipment and the masonry or the filler for the masonry leveling layer.

Ramming mass Feature
The ramming mass is made by mixing granular/powdered raw materials (such as silicon carbide, graphite) with binders (resin, cement, etc.) and is formed through manual or mechanical compaction. It has a low moisture content and is densely compacted, with superior performance compared to similar castable materials 12. It has good chemical stability, is resistant to erosion and wear, and is suitable for filling or lining of high-temperature industrial kilns and furnaces .

Ramming mass Application
The ramming material is a kind of non-castable refractory material that is constructed by ramming (either manually or mechanically) and hardens under the heating effect above normal temperature. It has good chemical stability, resistance to erosion, abrasion resistance, anti-peeling property, and heat shock resistance, and is widely used in various manufacturing industries.
The main uses of the ramming material
1.Filling and leveling: The ramming material is made from silicon carbide, graphite, electrically calcined anthracite, and various ultra-fine powder additives, with cement or composite resin as the binder. It is a granular material body. It is mainly used as a filling material for the gaps between the cooling equipment of the furnace body and the masonry or the leveling layer of the masonry.
2.Metallurgical industry: Acidic, neutral, and alkaline ramming materials are widely used in coreless medium-frequency furnaces and core-containing induction furnaces. They are used as ramming materials for medium-frequency furnaces to melt gray cast iron, ductile iron, refractory cast iron, spheroidal graphite cast iron, and cast iron alloys, melt carbon steel, alloy steel, high manganese steel, tool steel, heat-resistant steel, stainless steel, aluminum and its alloys, melt copper, brass, white copper, and bronze and other copper alloys.
3.High-temperature blast furnace application: Carbon-based ramming materials are mainly used for the gaps between the carbon bricks of the blast furnace bottom and the bottom sealing plates, as well as between the carbon bricks of the blast furnace hearth and the cooling wall. The leveling and filling of the cooling wall are required in all these areas. The carbon-based ramming material after being rammed must have certain strength and density, filling every corner and small gaps, and meeting the requirement of not leaking molten iron and gas.
4.Glass kiln furnaces: The varieties and requirements of zirconia ramming materials are increasing. Some are zirconium silicate ramming materials with aggregates, mainly used in the ramming layer of the pool bottom of borosilicate glass melting furnaces; some are zirconium-aluminum-based ramming materials, mainly used in the melting of.
