1.Ramming mass Description

Ramming material refers to the unshaped refractory that is constructed by the ramming method and hardened under heating above normal temperature. It is made by mixing refractory aggregates, powders, binders, admixtures with a certain level of water or other liquids. It is used to fill the gap between the furnace cooling equipment and the masonry or the filler for the masonry leveling layer.

Refractory ramming materials are mainly used for the lining of smelting furnaces and other thermal equipment, such as blast furnace iron runners and slag runners, blast furnace cupolas, blast furnace linings, ladles, electric arc furnaces, induction furnace linings, converters, steelmaking furnaces, rotary kilns.
