Refractory bricks generally require high compressive strength, which is also an important performance basis for the selection and use of refractory bricks, so what methods can be used to improve their compressive performance?
1. Increase the forming pressure of the brick machine.
The increase of brick forming force increases the density of refractory bricks. Only by increasing the density of blanks, can high-strength sintered bricks be fired. The molding pressure of the refractory brick is 2.2~2.3MPa, and the compressive strength of the fired brick is generally 13.9-15MPa, and the adobe with the molding pressure of 3MPa, the compressive strength of the fired brick can easily reach 20MPa.
2. Properly increase the temperature of sintered refractory bricks
The same raw materials and bricks produced by the same brick machine have different firing temperatures, and the strength of sintered refractory bricks is also different. The compressive strength of bricks increases with the increase of the firing temperature of the tunnel kiln.
3. Properly extend the holding time
The same raw materials, the same brick machine, the same heating and cooling speed, the sintering temperature is 900 ℃, and the holding time is different, the compressive strength of the sintered brick is also different. and quality is beneficial.
4. It is recommended to use low temperature and long burning
Now sintered refractory bricks are generally mixed with internal combustion, and "high temperature and short firing" are often used to increase production. Long-term practice has proved that the firing method of "high temperature and short firing" for internal combustion bricks has a certain impact on improving the quality of refractory bricks. What is more serious is that it increases coal consumption, wastes energy, and is not conducive to protecting the ecological environment.
